 When I was asked to make a rather complex report work on a new and slightly different version of a service management program I was considering two options:building the report from scratch based on the new and modified database or make changes on the current report.  Not able to edit rpt file Hi,I have a file developed in Crystal Enterprise 8.0, I have installed 9.0 version also my machine. There is an asp application which calls these rpt.My issue is that, I am not able to do any change in this rpt file.If I do some changes and try to save(in CR 9.0),it says that this file will be saved in new format and not accessible by old application.When I run the application it gives error 'Unable to load report'.I have downloaded .rpt Inspector 3 Professional Suite(for CR 8.5), but I am not able to find out how to ...

Contact Software Forces with what your needs are.Jaron Lindow - You can't open multiple reports in CR and apply changes to objects across them. i.e. 30 reports have the same formula that now needs to change or parameter default values need to be standardized or do a Set Location / Change Data Source / Convert Driver / Verify database on multiple reports at the same time or create documentation sets on multiple reports objects and their properties, and a whole lot more. How many report designers do you know that can code that and how long would ...
Nothing I can`t already do. I didn't see anything I can't already do with the Crystal Reports 8.5 ActiveX Designer Run Time Library. What I really need is the ability to strip/replace Path information for Linked OLE objects and database files within the report.
